Writing Contest for the Rule of Law - New Generations Shaping the Future

The World Jurist Association invites young law students and recent graduates (18-25 years old) to participate in the Writing Contest for the Rule of Law - New Generations Shaping the Future” a space for reflection and analysis on the challenges of the Rule of Law in the digital age.

In this edition, held in celebration of the World Law Congress 2025 in the Dominican Republic, the central theme will be “Artificial Intelligence and Human Dignity: Opportunities and Challenges of Its Regulation,” and essays may address topics such as:

- Opportunities and challenges of AI for human dignity.
- Guiding principles for effective international regulation.
- Innovative standards and initiatives surrounding the development of AI that respects human dignity.

You have until April 18 to submit your essay to mcabral@worldlawfoundation.org.

The winner will be able to participate in the World Law Congress 2027 in Albania, with the possibility that the World Jurist Association will cover transportation and accommodation expenses, if the jury deems it appropriate. Additionally, their work will be shared on the World Jurist Association’s website and channels.

A unique opportunity to contribute to the debate on the legal future of artificial intelligence and its impact on the Rule of Law.
